Privacy Policy

Everything you create in TakeSheet — projects, sessions, tracks, takes, notes, ratings, attachments, and imported bounces — is stored locally on your device.

If you purchase TakeSheet Pro, that same content is also synced through Apple iCloud (CloudKit) using your personal iCloud account, so it stays consistent across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. This data is stored in your private iCloud database. Whether your data is stored only on your device (Free) or also synced via iCloud (Pro), we do not operate our own servers for it, and we do not have access to it. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

You can use TakeSheet without ever creating an account. If you choose to sign in — with Apple, Google, or email — we use Firebase Authentication (a Google service) to manage that identity. Sign-in is identity-only: it is used to protect your purchases and link your data across a reinstall or a new device.

When you sign in, Firebase Authentication processes your chosen identifier (such as your email address or the token provided by Apple or Google). Your session and take content is never uploaded to Firebase.

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate (for example, which features are used most) and to diagnose crashes. This data is anonymized usage and diagnostic information — device model, OS version, app version, and event data such as “a take was logged.” It never includes the content of your sessions, takes, notes, or attachments.

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and restore them across your devices. RevenueCat receives purchase receipts and an anonymous app user identifier. The app never sees or stores your payment details — card numbers and billing information stay with Apple.

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use third-party advertising networks or ad tracking.
• We do not read, analyze, or access the content you create in the app.
• We do not require an account to use the app.

TakeSheet is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

You can delete your content at any time by deleting projects in the app. If you’re on Pro and iCloud sync is active, you can also remove the app’s iCloud data from Settings on your device.

If you created an optional account, you can delete it from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account), which removes your authentication record. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we process (such as analytics identifiers) — contact us to exercise them.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be noted in the app or on this page, and the “Last updated” date above will change. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
